About Me
How did I come to designing jewelry? With a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and
a Masters Degree in Education, 24 years of experience in school libraries and
teaching gifted children, I now find myself spending endless hours creating
beautiful jewelry. All along the way, I have always had a need to create.
Writing, photography, baking, knitting, sewing, cross-stitching, smocking, and
now, jewelry. One day, my friend Leah saw me making a sterling and crystal
noodle necklace for myself. The next day she called me and said she needed a
really special gift for someone, and asked if I could make her a noodle necklace.
A business was born!
Born and raised in Cincinnati, I now call Columbus home. I have been married
for 31 years and have two daughters and a son. The oldest teaches art and makes
lamp work glass, the next is a law clerk in New Jersey and the youngest is learning
to be a sound engineer. When I’m not twisting wires and dropping beads, I enjoy reading,
playing Mah Jongg, and spending time with my family, friends and many pets.
